You haven't heard back from me because I haven't yet had a chance to use the toaster oven. I only got it out of the box yesterday.

I promise I WILL post a review of the toaster oven as soon as I get a chance to play with it. But it's going to be a few weeks; right now all my kitchen cookware is boxed up, and next week I'm leaving on a long trip (the most ill-timed vacation ever!). Remind me never to move again!

I bought my Cuisinart at a thrift store for $2.95, and it lasted me for about two years. I liked it so much, I bought the same used from eBay for $60. They sell for about $99 new. I like it because it's a larger size, and it'll hold a square baking pan. It's not as large as the Black and Decker that Aredhel bought, but I saved the information on it, in case my Cuisinart dies on me.

The turntable on my microwave is making noises when it turns, so it may be on it's way out.

I dated a toaster oven for a while, but love just wasn't in the cards. I ended up in a long-term relationship with a snazzy panini press, instead. Now I can enjoy hot melted cheese on pumpernickel any time I want it.

Life is good.

Farberware has some good ones, and they have 3-wire power cords for safety.

I have a really small cheap B&D toaster oven I use often for just the 2 of us. It only fits a small pan, not even 4x8. Be careful cleaning these things. I cleaned it so well one time the numbers came off around the dial and I have to guess what temp. it's set at. I'm waiting for it to die so I can get a nice one and it's soooo darn reliable...
