I've been doing research, but really can't afford the top rated Breville and was wondering if anyone has a toaster oven they love that's less than a hundred dollars? Thanks.

My Black & Decker does its job wonderfully, but I do not love it.

I have a Breville and I love it, but they are pretty pricey. Before that I had a Black and Decker and it got the job done. The only reason we ended up with such a pricey countertop oven was because my husband broke the glass in our range trying to fix a loose handle. My sister had a Breville and loved hers so we sprung for one while we were in between getting the range fixed.

It pretty much doubles as a mini-oven so I get a lot of use out of it. It toasts like all other toaster ovens - slowly - so if I want a piece of toast in a hurry, I pull out my regular toaster, otherwise as long as I plan ahead, it works fine.

Not a toaster OVEN, but I really like my Dualit toaster. It's like Rolls-Royce made kitchen appliances.

I really like the scene in "The Blues Brothers" where the band goes to Ray's Music Exchange, and while the other guys are checking out instruments, Elwood pulls a slice of bread from his jacket and solemnly puts it in a toaster oven that's for sale.

We have a KitchenAid that we bought at Costco a couple years ago and it was around the holiday shopping season so we got a really good price on it. We use it for everything but toast......LOL

I can tell you to NOT buy the Emerson Toaster/Convection oven that I have! It never crossed my mind to think that the rack wouldn't pull out levelly. I almost lost a casserole in there the first time I used it and went to slide out the rack to remove the casserole. The track is only on a "track" at the front and back. STUPID idea.

I think I jinxed myself by responding to this thread - looks like a new toaster oven is in my future soon.
