...this reminded me of a long-standing question of mine.

When did Tidy Cat become pluralistic? Early '90s perhaps?

I tried looking it up online to no avail.

I buy cat litter in 35 pound pails. I buy 2 at a time. I have Amazon deliver them to my door.

Some people use cat litter for grit on icy walkways.
Other people use cat litter for cats. Or kittens.

Why does it matter to you, personally?

I buy cat litter when I have coupons for it, and normally end up with a year's supply. Luckily, my cat isn't picky about the brand, and uses it. By buying it with coupons in advance, I don't have to keep running to the store to buy it. The last time I bought it was at the beginning of 2105, and I was down to the last two 20lb jugs when this year's coupons came out.

It might be the name they use for the version of the litter intended for homes with more than one cat. Apparently, a different formulation works better if multiple cats are sharing the litter boxes.

Yep, I normally have year's supply. Why should I have to go to the store once a month to buy cat litter. I normally work 10-12 hours days, sometimes for two weeks straight, so I don't have time to go to the store. It's also the reason that I have a small stand alone freezer.
