Default Home Goods

Has anyone purchased furniture in Home Goods? I always see styles I like, what do you think of their prices? I know some of their stores are better then others. The one I shopped in NJ was not that nice but when I moved to SC, they have one in Myrtle Beach with great stuff.

All stores carry better stuff in the south as compared to the north...personal experience of course

It looks to me like stuff I might buy as an accent piece. Not great quality, but OK for a quick change.

I am an interior designer, so shopping for things like this is a lot of what I do, so I can make a really informed statement here. I see name brands like Hooker Furniture at our Home Goods, at far below retail, as well as other brands I recognize and use.
If my client is on a limited budget, I always take them there to shop. I shop there for myself, as well!

I LOVE Home Goods! A new one opened up in CT that I just about lived in. When we moved to Knoxville, TN they had one too, but it was a little older and smaller. Moved from there to Augusta, GA and to my HUGE disappointment, there isn't one around. Not only that, but their TJ Maxx needs to be gutted and rebuilt.

Home Goods is like the Home Department of TJ Maxx on steroids. Good products at very reasonable prices.

I love that store!
They are owned by same company as TJMaxx and Marshalls so you'll just get similiar stuff but with a better selection.

I dont know about other locations, but the one near me in Gainesville has stuff you will NEVER see at regular TJ Maxx and Marshalls, at least with the big-ticket items.....

Yes, I've been in some where it's only accent pieces but the one near me has lots of furniture.

Thank you. I thought the same and now shopping around on the internet I can see the prices are decent. I just wish they delivered!
