I can not believe how many fools and their money have parted ways. Things I could get cheaper at Amazon new people were buying display models that were more expensive. No accounting for people thinking.

you should ask the store when the sale is going to happen, as the prices that they currently have says that they are not planning on going out of business.

I never go to those going out of business sales. About the only thing worth buying is if you want fixtures or shelving. I will let people who don't who their pricing pay 30% off msrp which is normally a lot higher then what it normally sells for. Amazing how many people cant do math and think they are getting a deal.

I went to sport authority once and never again. Their prices when they were in business were nuts. even academy had better prices and selection.

I looked at some fishing equipment. All of it was way overpriced even if it wasn't a sale. Let alone a closeout sale with no return policy, I guess people are stupid and don't double check prices online.

I had the same situation. Went in to the store and prices were high then with the percent off they were what you could buy for at other stores with a return policy. Put 50 percent off ad people rush in and open their wallet.

I never get excited over going out of business sales.
We have a furniture store that has had an annual going out of business sale for the past 30 years. When I see their commercial on tv I say, "Die already damn you."

As a former retail manager, I agree with this! This is what they do.

I bought some things there the other day. I checked online, and the original retail prices were what other stores were selling the same items for, so at 70% off, it was a good deal. I bought a few things I was going to buy anyway, so I was able to get them cheaper then if I had bought from Amazon, Target, or some other sports store.
