I would never buy a front loading washer.
There is a major problem with mold growth in the rubber (or plastic?) lining around the front door.
The moldy smell gets all over your clothes.
I have heard about a big class action law suit by consumers against the manufacturers of this type of washer.

We have LG front load washer and dryer. It works great but the washer is a huge PITA to keep clean. Mold is inevitable, we follow all the directions and recommendations. The class action lawsuit gets you $35, we didnt qualify. Never again, next washer will be top load.
