I ordered an item off eBay yesterday and apparently hadn't changed my shipping address since I moved. The item is going to Indiana - I'm in Tennessee. It was $125 so really don't want to lose it. This is an apartment complex so it will likely go to the clubhouse, but I didn't pay the lease termination fee, so would rather intercept it beforehand
I tried the USPS Package Intercept but the item isn't eligible. I'm going to call the local post office and see if they have any suggestions. Does anyone have any other recommendation?

Has the item already shipped? You could contact the seller and see if they are able to change the address. Would USPS change the address based on a phone call?
Since it's not eligible for Redirect, the only option is a Return to Sender. Of course you could have used the USPS Premium Mail Forwarding but since you skipped out on your legal financial obligation to the old landlord, that would give them and their debt collectors your new address.
