I like Party Lite candles becuse they don't produce all the black smoke while they burn... they burn cleaner and smell fantastic... and last quite a while... but you do pay more for them.

I love these candles because their scents last a long time. I've put my favorite scents in parentheses:

Henri Bendel (Quince, Fig, Orange Blossom)
Diptyque (Figuier)
Archipelago
Illuminations
Votivo
Pacifica (Tuscan Blood Orange)
Voluspa (Clean Crisp White, Island Grapefruit)
Yankee Candles (Clean Cotton)

[quote=ivanabacowboy;3231987]There is a post currently on the board about flameless candles. But looking for folks input on flame-burning candles. What brands and scents do you like?

Bath & Body Works candles dont always burn right. They are hit and miss. They often tunnel and waste a lot of the candle. (Tho I have been successful to burn a few without tunneling.)

You can take any candle back to White Barn anytime if it doesn't burn right. They will replace it with a new one.

I like Gold Canyon candles. They are actually cheaper than Yankee Candle Company. We don't have a Yankee Candle company store anywhere near me and my Hallmark store won't honor the YCC coupons. So I order GC from a friend. I love the MUlled Harvest, it makes my whole house smell good.

I have every brand of candle and scent, yes I have a problem. But I realize why , I never found the right oneThen I found Circle E,. They burn clean, no black around the jar, long lasting and the best smells from start to finish. I visit Heritage Bark located in Taylor Michigan where I can buy them all. This is the only store around with them look them up it is so worth the call and the trip.

I adore candles - mostly the super fragrant ones, I love Illuminations but the company is now shut down. I've since been burning soy candles by Stella Mare and they're awesome for filling a large room with fragrance and covering up cooking smells (and are cheaper than many others). I also like Ergo and Archipelago (Home and Excursion collections) candles for their more unusual scents - but these are pricier so I buy one only once a year as a gift to myself!

I don't buy anything but soy anymore. SPOILED!
They are the only candles that I know of that liquify until completely gone plus retain their smell.
Most of the others burn unevenly, or only burn so far down and do not give off their smell like I think they should....lol.
Lowes carries the soy christmas candles in all different scents for the holidays.

I've recently started using Slatkin and the candles smell amazing. The Fresh Balsam smells just like a Christmas tree. Right now I am burning Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. Smells great.
