Reasonably-priced tweezers that actually closed tightly, didn't warp and caught very fine hairs on the first try.

Same with nail clippers. I have wide nail beds so I use the larger clippers for everything. I have a pair of Revlon that are going on 20 years old (no rust) that cut better than the drug store junk they're pushing today. Only thing I've seen work is a pair of titanium dual-ended ones but they're a little awkward to squeeze being so thick.

Cheaper on Amazon, but $13 in a CVS, Rite-Aid, or Walgreens.

Pepperidge Farm vegetable turnovers. They used to sell frozen turnovers with broccoli and cheese, or asparagus and cheese, or some others that I've forgotten. They were awesome, but I haven't seen any in the supermarkets for at least 5 years.

The gas cans, 1 gallon and 5 gallon. Yes, I have seen the large Gerry cans. They are very heavy and I think run over $50. I am looking for any kits out there to rework cans for reasonable expense.

The Craftsman tool box is a 2 tray rolling chest with extension handle; plastic, not metal. Metal would be too heavy to be very portable. I've checked E Bay. I still use what's left of the box and have spread some of my tools to other boxes I have. I'm making do.

I haven't heard of Buckingham. Harlen sounds vaguely familiar. I'll check them out. I am an electrician, so I may like some of the same stuff you do. I have had a Klein lineman's bag that recently gave out. I have a knockoff of it and will get another Klein in the future.

I have Rigid cordless tools. I use 1 of the bags that came with them to keep chargers & batteries in. Some of them included a long duffle bag, too flimsy to use long. I'll find something or start keeping drills & saw in a 5 gallon bucket.

My hat is off to you linemen. You do one of the hardest jobs in this industry in the worst weather and conditions.

I ran across these one day while looking for something else and made a mental note.....just in case I ever need to buy one of the new style gas cans.

Luckily, the three old style gas cans I have now are still in good shape and I am very careful with them......I treat them like they are made of fine china. LOL.

My grandpa still uses one of these. Not related to sewing, as the link implies, but as part of his general tool set.

Revlon used to make triple cut stainless steel nail files. Those were great. You can now only get an off brand on Amazon that isn't the same quality. I still have my Revlon nail files, and they last forever.
Manicure implements scissors and such have gotten worse over the years.

Junket Danish Dessert (a fruit pudding)

Sunshine Raisin Biscuits (Vermont Country Store sells a British version called Garibaldi's that are made with currants and are very close to the original, but they are rather pricey.)

Postum. Same as above.
Postum! I used to drink that in the 1970s.
