My grandsons are that age & we play a board game called shark bite over & over again.
They also like Star Wars, dinosaurs, stickers with a pad of paper they can stick them on & toy stores also have cute colored pencils they can draw on the pad for hours.
There’s so many things they love at that age..,
Have fun choosing

Great ideas!

I like the MOA & Children's Museum and I bet she would also but she teaches during the day and then visits her husband in hospice and then takes care of the kids. I'm thinking she wouldn't have the time even if she wanted to go.

Superhero pajamas.
Bathtub toys.
Books that make noises.
Flashlights
Binoculars
Sleeping bags (kid sized with character prints)
I love the little talking hamster that repeats what you say.
I have 2 sons. I'm a boy's mom, for sure.

Books! - with lots of pictures. Either story books or information books with lots of pictures - dinosaurs and animals are almost always popular topics with little boys. Get them a book apiece but things both can enjoy. If you must choose an age level, go for the older child's level - the little one will grow into his brother's book(s) and can enjoy the pictures meanwhile.

Thought of something else. If you go with tub toys you can bundle them and add some body paint bath soap & cool shaped sponges.

That's fun idea.

I suggest Nerf stuff...balls, toys whatever to play indoors because they are easy on house & sibling.

You might be able to buy NWT (new with tags) toys from shopgoodwill.com for bargain prices, just always check the shipping costs button before you bid.

Cars. Toy cars.
