I've noticed a few people like to be a bit judgemental

We've done the grocery ordering a few times and they did a fabulous job picking out produce and meat.

That is my experience also. I think quite a few people are simply uninformed on the subject and how much it has changed in the last few years.

Too often. The sucky part of this is that I order food I like but I only order out when I'm not feeling good, so I'm usually not enjoying it as much as I should. When I have a sinus headache I just want something that will comfort me and distract me from the pain.

My best friend in my current city is disabled. Being able to order her groceries online has greatly improved her quality of life in that it saves her a ton of "spoons" (google spoonies if you don't know what that means). She's got two dogs and a demanding job, and she needs to conserve her energy as much as possible.

Ha! We do that too. A long standing tradition on Friday nights. Home delivery pizza, beer and movie or TV. We’re kind of out of the way so not many delivery options. When quality went downhill, we started trying different frozen pizzas. After many disappointments, we finally found one that is half way decent called “Against the Grain”. It’s gluten free, which made no difference to us but it does have a nice clean flavor. We do add extra cheese to it though.

We just ordered food from Cafe Rio just now!

Any other comments about it?
The problem with food delivey services is that they have been increasingly using so called 'Dark Kitchens'.

Which are kitchen on industrial estates and other such locations where food is massed produced.

For prepared food, a few times a year.

For groceries - either pick up or delivery - maybe six or eight times a year.

Delivery every Saturday, and we only order online from one place. They are local, have great food (huge salads!), and it fits into our budget. It's interesting to me how judgemental some people seem about ordering food. I think it might come from ignorance of the options out there. It's not just greasy pizza.
