Help! I'm at a loss for ideas on what to get my husband for our 10th wedding anniversary! We are in our low thirties and my husband is into the "traditional" gifts for anniversaries. Gifts of tin and aluminum are traditional for the 10th anniversary.

Any ideas? He doesn't wear a watch. I've asked him for hints and he said something made out of metal that he would keep for a long time. Can't afford something extravagant like a new car. :0)

Aluminum siding?

Kidding.

Personally, I wouldn't want a gift just for the sake of a gift. If I don't need (or want) something, I don't like people to say, "Well, I have to get him something. What can I get?" Perhaps some sexy lingerie with aluminum beads?

I wonder when aluminum became an appropriate gift for 10? It used to be more valuable than platinum.

Default Here are some ideas:

There is the Naughty Bedroom Dice Gift Set: The gift set includes a luxurious pair of aluminum dice and a velveteen bedside pouch. $14.99 from Naughty Bedroom Dice Gift Set (http://ambiance.com/shop-product.cfm/ProdID/3301/ - broken link)

There is also the Sensual Candle Set: Two "sexy lady" sculptures are cast in stone accented with solid aluminum. $139 from Shopping at Femail Creations - Captivating Candles

How about a bouquet of 10 aluminum roses (for your 10th anniversary)? $84.95 from JustAluminumRosesâ„¢ They are made of thin sheets of aluminum, red on the outside and shiny aluminum on the inside. They also sell an optional aluminum vase.

Or a small tin picture frame for $25.99 from Tin Frames - Small Sassy Stationery and Gifts

And my personal favorite: A Penn Dutch Hearts Wedding & Anniversary Personalized Plaque. It's a 12" H x 10.5" W cast aluminum plaque for $59 from Penn Dutch Hearts Wedding & Anniversary Personalized Plaque - OutdoorDecor.Com

Default I just came across two more ideas

There is a satin aluminum clock, whose dial features a total of eleven unique photo frames, so every hour of the day can remind him of you or a memorable moment the two of you shared. The metal frames are also magnets which are easily rearranged on the brushed aluminum clock face, so that any photo may represent any hour. $29.95 from Magnetic Photo Frame Clock, Photo Magnet Clock, Photo Clock

Also:

There is a 4 x 6 inch aluminum tree marker plaque with a 45 degree angle mount and an aluminum rod that contains your personalized message. $67 from Eternitree - the Gift that Celebrates Life (http://www.eternitree.com/product_info.php?products_id=165&ad=FindGift - broken link)

They are not tin and are priced about like they were silver, but a set of Snap-On wrenches (inch or metric depending on what kind of cars/bikes he's into) are something I would appreciate anyway.

Congrats on your 10th wedding anniversary. You should give him scented candle set. Celebrate this occasion at your home and make proper arrangement for candle light dinner. This will certainly be a good remembrance for you and your husband along with your child.
