Target is usually clean and the employees actually are helpful...Walmart is depressing and in the area we are in, it seems dirty. Dirty floors, merchandise jumbled together. Not worth saving the 10.00 less on groceries.

Interchangeable.

I'd have to check into which store provides the cheaper items--but Wal-Mart is closer to me than Target, and so Target doesn't get my business simply because of the distance. But if I lived ten minutes away from Target, I'd probably go there.

At 4:30 pm, KFWB Newstalk Radio announced that their sister station CBS 2 in Los Angeles will be airing an expose on their 11:00 PM news TONIGHT regarding coupon use at various Target stores across the US.

The expose shows that in many cases, consumers are NOT receiving the proper credit for their coupons. For example, one consumer used a $1 coupon and was credited only 35 cents. Some coupons were not credited at all.

While this was first identified in LA, it was found in a number of Target locations throughout the country.

Target is a nicer store but I seem to buy more at Walmart. I guess it's because they a little of everything.

I'm going to have to go with Target on this. I do shop at Wal-Mart if I happen to be in that neck of the woods and need something, but my Target shopping experiences far outweigh my Wal-Mart ones. The Wal-Mart by me is so dim, the aisles are very narrow and it's a zoo. I don't care if it costs me 20$ more to shop at Target. It's just so much more peaceful and relaxing. Oh and they actually OPEN check-out aisles! Yes Wal-Mart employees, I'm talking to you- I think EVERYONE would rather have you open a few more check-out aisles rather than blindly going up to everyone you see asking "can I help you?". LOL!

I basically use only walmart because Target doesn't have the selection of groceries that Walmart has. Plus Walmart is much easier to get in and out of, parking wise, than Target.

Really? I've found that the Wal-Mart parking lot is kind of a free for all and very unorganized.

Our Wal-Mart was great as it was, after the re-model it is a whole lot better than great. Good job Wal-Mart.
