Don't you people read your Bible? The good book says unto thee, "Thou shalt not mind the purchases of thy neighbor. Let he who noses into thy neighbor's shopping cart be stoned and quartered, so say the Father."

I'll pray for all of you, and may He forgive your transgression.

Hee. I am going to hell then because I noticed yesterday, after reading this thread last week, that I am indeed one of those nosey folks! In my defense some of the carts I peek into are because I see what the cart pusher looks like and I want to make sure not to end up like them lol!

I will however never crowd anyone as this bugs me to hell and beyond and the person crowding me, as long as they are not really old, will get an excuse me from me. I can't stand anyone breathing down my neck and have no problems stating so.

You're in good company there! LOL

Exitus Acta Probat, what kind of Bible are you reading? And what are you smoking when you read it?

Actually, it did occur to me that some people see me, and want to be more like me, so they examine what I'm purchasing, but there's really much more to being smart and handsome and my shopping purchases are fairly ancillary. I suppose, though, I can't blame them for trying.

Oh crap, I needed to pick some of that up, too!
Wonder if that brand is as good as what I use?
Like he needs more chips!!

(please notice that on the last last one I tried to avoid a cheap shot)

Gotta go...how long is this line going to take?
Hurry -- I really gotta go.
Uh oh...
Well that takes care of that.
Do I have clean underwear in the car?
Well at least I'm not wearing white pants.
I hope I'm the only one who can smell that.

You should have thought of that before you left the house.

I get annoyed when I am browsing through someone else's cart and they ask me to stop. Unless you have an invisiblilty cloak, the contents of your cart are public interest.

My only thought would be--"How long is it going to take you to empty that thing out? I got like three things, and they don't have an express line open."

There is a WM cashier I will not use because she gives me an editorial on my purchases. I was getting wipes and hand sanitizer for my son's classroom, plus some childrens' Tylenol because we were running out, and she decided to tell me how if "we" did not eat all of the crappy meat "they" sell these days that is "full of hormones, antibiotics, and preservatives", my kids would not get sick as much. A couple of weeks later I was on my way to a party and had been asked to pick up dessert. I picked up a chocolate cake and a couple of boxes of cookies. My kids were with me, and were excited because...we were going to a party! She takes one look at my items and says "no wonder they are so hyper, you feed them this much sugar".

I am considering going back and purchasing a bunch of junk food, NyQuil, some beer, and topping it off with a home pregnancy test and some prenatal vitamins just to see what she has to say. Or maybe I will just avoid her. Depends on my mood.
