Arm and Hammer powder.

One of the few I have found that gets the funk out of exercise clothes (I'm guessing it's the baking soda?).

I add oxygen bleach and/or white vinegar to the wash load as needed.

I'm a Gain gal! However, I use other brands if I find a good sale, with the exception of Surf, which caused me to develop a rash when I was a teenager after my Mom had used that brand.

I buy Tide if I have a coupon (even though it's still more expensive than other brands), otherwise it's usually Gain or Purex.
MistyVT, my mother quit using Surf years ago because my brother got a rash. Don't remember a bad reaction to other detergents though.

I know Gain is highly rated..does Purex work as well? LOL - I have used Surf before but never got a rash. It goes on sale here in New England a lot!
