Think I usually use "Sun" brand. Maybe Purex sometimes. Don't like powdered laundry soap, liquid only.

I am not sucked in by the big brand names. I prefer to use something that has no fragrance. I typically buy Extra laundry detergent. works fine for us and I have two boys. Also, I like to use stain stick for those nasty stains!

DH recently bought a 20lb box of Tide from Sam's Club . I think it will probably last the two of us at least a year. LOL! Seriously, I'm not too picky with the brand, but I never buy the liquid.

I have a preference for All assuming price is not an issue. Otherwise, I'll choose between Arm and Hammer, Purex and Gain. Tide's too pricey even if effective. I'll just add bleach for colors if I wanted the extra punch!

I use All (Small & Mighty) liquid detergent (just 1 cap full can clean a load of laundry really good).

I hate powdered detergent. I used to use powdered when I was in the ARmy, because it was a lot cheaper and lasted longer, but it always left powder residue on most of my clothing. So, I switched since 2000.

I use the Arm & Hammer powder. If I can't find that, I buy Gain... I LOVE the smell of Gain, Original fresh, but it got too hard to find when they came out with new scents. So now, I buy the Arm & Hammer soap (works just great), a generic Chlorine Safe bleach, Shout, Clorox Bleach (the splashless kind) and Gain Fabric Softener (of which I use about 1/4 of the recommended amount).

Our clothes are clean and smell fresh, so I'm happy!
