On my big weekly trip to our local SuperTarget the cashier told me that they are now giving the customer a .05 cent "coupon" on every reusable grocery bag that is used on their items. I only use my reusable bags so this is GREAT!!! I should have all of my reusable bags paid for in a month if not sooner

Awesome. I'm glad to hear this. Maybe more people will use their own sacks!

I want them to give me less bags to begin with.

I can understand chemicals in separate bags from meat, produce and frozen foods. I could even seen them segregated from canned and boxed food items. And keep crushable items separated, okay. But to put two or three light items in a bag seems wasteful--bag's still half empty [exclamation point]

...I think my room mate needs a new keyboard...that whole top row isn't working for me.

You can do like me and bag them yourself.

I always stuff my bags full.

And Winn Dixie always gets mad at me because I don't use the brown bags for my meat.

I usually go to Wal-Mart. It's a ten minute walk from home.

Otherwise I would do so. Of course, if I did my shopping at Sav-A-Lot, you don't get bags unless you buy them. Boxes are free.

I have bags from all different stores. I even have 3 bags from a store in Aruba. Does not matter what bag you use if it is a reusable bag you get the money back for each one of them.

My only problem with the reusable bags is they are much like an umbrella.....where ever they are (home or car)....it is raining at the other one.
