Few months back I bought a new phone since my old phone stopped working. I bought the phone from a nearby MALL from a T-Mobile cart store. The person told me that the phone is $100 but you will get it for $30 if you sign 2 year contract and get $70 back in rebate. I bought the cell phone and filed the rebate. Today I receive a letter saying "Rebate has been rejected and the rebate only apply to a new cell phone with internet plans". I don't have the internet plan.

So, now who is to blame T-Mobile or the customer service guy at the T-Mobile cart in the MALL.

That is why I hate rebates!!

I'm pretty sure it must be somewhere in the contract you signed. So, I'd say you're to blame

Did you get it in writing? If not, than you only have yourself to blame.
