I didn't know until quite recently that you could use debit cards at Costco. I know you weren't able to at one time. It sure is nice having that convenience now. I also buy my gas at Costco as often at possible. With the cost of it nowdays, even 3 or 4 cents a gallon helps!

There is only Sam's here, don't really like it, but do have a membership (work). The only thing I use it for is the large bags of frozen fruits, vegetables. Sometimes will get a specialty cheese as well. I don't care for the warehouse feel, concrete floors, just a snob I guess! And always crowded!

I shop at Sam's Club, Costco, and BJ's. Costco is my favorite but BJ's is the only one that takes manufacturers coupons. I find Costco has higher end products and is cleaner. They also have lots of samples such as cheeses, coffees, etc. I always like to try new items.

Costco is definetly higher end and cleaner. When I used to go to Sam's, the people that handed out the samples weren't exactly the most hygenic-gross. So needless to say- we never tried any of the samples. Now we belong to Costco and travel 45 minutes instead of 10 minutes because I believe Costco is that much better. Plus as someone else mentioned-they are part of Wallyworld.

Does anyone remember when Costco was called THe Price Club? I still call it the price club..lol.
Yes I do remember when they were The Price Club. Funny I was thinking about that too.

We love Costco!!! When I was pregnant, we went to both Costco and Sams just to see who had what available and to compare the prices. We found Costco to be more reasonable and they also had the special formula that my daughter needed. With the price of that alone, it was an easy decision for us to stay with Costco. We've been a member there now for almost 10 years and we just love it! The employees are always so nice to talk to.

Costco is alot better, the employees are more helpful and costco treats them better than sams club.Costco has better products and is cleaner.and a reason for all the demos on the food is because you want to try the food before you buy a big box of it.

Both Costco's and Sam's Club have "Demo's" in our market. We find them both very clean, well stocked and both have friendly and attentive staff. Hence why we shop at both

They do have distinctly different products - Sam's offers the abililty to purchase smaller quanities of some products. Sam's offers more in the garden / outdoor living area than Costco. Costco on the other hand does offer Caskets

We like both
