Default Do I add the ENTIRE bottle of detergent to my LG front load washer or just one cap full each time I wash ?

The instructions are confusing to say the least. From what I read, the dispenser on my LG front load washing machine automatically dispenses during the wash cycle. I am under the assumption that I need to pour the ENTIRE CONTENTS of the laundry detergent container into the pull-out dispenser so every time I wash the machine will dispense the correct amount. If this is true, when do I know when I need to add more detergent ? Is this true ? Or am I totally wrong and just wasted a 14.00 dollar container of laundry detergent ? Do I need to add one cap full to the dispenser EACH time I wash ? Help...totally confused.

What would be the harm in loading only one cap full each time you wash? I'd play it safe and do that.

Add what you need for each wash according to the destructons. (instructions)

well I never read the instruction booklet and I own a front load LG washer but the guy who came to deliver and hook it up said to use only about a tablespoon of the liquid HE detergent.
