I am looking for a thermos-like (insulated) container that would keep food warm/hot or cold several hours. I am currently using the Thermos Funtainer jars , but they are too big (and tall) for the intended purpose. That is to send my kids to school with their own food. I want to give them variety (3 side veggies - steamed broccoli crowns, a hot potato, lima beans, mashed potato), but also would like to keep the food separated - I would have to pack 3-4 thermos jars only 1/4 full (more jars than food).

So, I have been looking for a smaller container, or a divided container (like a plate, or a very shallow jar), much like this LunchBot
Amazon.com: LunchBots Duo Stainless Steel Lunch Box/Food Container: Kitchen & Dining but this looks like a plain stainless container (wouldn't hold food hot for long- like 5 hours for Thermos).
I would like to definitely stay away from plastic - Basically the Thermos jars work well, but they are too cumbersome for the amount of food I pack for a 3 yr-old. They are picky, so I have to present the child with a variety she can choose from (in the mood of). The school would not warm or microwave food from home (go figure, and I choose for the kids not to have baked lays, and ham for lunch). Thank you for any leads.

I remember seeing them on QVC on tv, lots of different colors, if you go to their website no doubt they are there,

Hope this helps
