Hi. I want my employer to buy me a self inking stamp with my name credential and a permanent signature.

They bought me a self inking stamp with my name and credential already but now realize i need a permanent signature along with those too because i am expected to sign 130 signatures every weekend and it's killing my hand because i already have carpal tunnel in the hand from too much computer use

I asked them once for this new stamp with the perm sig but they didn't respond

I just asked again today by sending an e mail I expect to hear from them next week

I know Staples might sell them but I don't know much about them, are they expensive, and do you need any kind of legal clearance from the employer(since it's a permanent signature)?

Has anyone ordered them? Do you go into Staples to order it or can you do it by mail?

You can order one for less than $10, and sometimes less than $5.

Another way of handling it it to change the way you write your signature. It is very common to emphasize the initials and then just line the rest of the letters. In point of fact, an X is just as legal.

It's YOUR signature---buy your own stamp, and take it with you, if you ever leave!
