Well, I just started buying organic milk lately because I only drink some with my coffee and the organic's expiration date is always like a month later.

HALF gallon costs $3.99 or $3.89 depending on which brand.

Regular MacArthur type is over $3.00 for the half-gallon. Store brand (Publix or Winn Dixie) is about $2.39

Our gas at the self-serve stations in No. Az. is running $3.09

The milk prices are much better - $2.80 gal. reg. price and $2.00 on sale at Wal-Mart, and you don't have to pump it yourself.

Thanks for all the new responses.

Today was the first time gas went below $3.00 (2.98 in a tiny corner of New England at mid-day at about half the stations).

I didn't check to see if this decrease has affected the cost of milk. I will tomorrow.

Our gas in GA is supposed to go up 2 cents tomorrow because of some new tax. Otherwise, it was $2.99 - $3.09 depending on the station.

We LOVE 2% fat organic milk. Unfortunately, because we love it, we drink more and it is aboout $3.29 a half gallon. Lately one brand has been $3.00 per half gallon.

If you are a milk drinker and try it, you won't go back. The taste is unbelievable. And that's true about the expiration date- it is much later than the non-organics for some reason.

In Jax,I just paid $3.04 for 87 octane. I don't price shop, though, just pull over when my tank gets low.
