Figure it out, you're the one with the plan.

1 hour and 20 minutes= 80 minutes. You claimed that it equals 100 minutes. 4 hours= 240 minutes. You claimed that it equaled 300 minutes. Where were you "rounding up"?

I did notice that I didn't add the extra 20 minutes, doesn't matter much though, since it still isn't a big difference.

You indicated that $30 worth of airtime only equaled 4 hours, when it is actually equal to 5 hours of airtime. I think an hour is a sizable difference.

It is 5 hours, sorry.

In any case, it just doesn't seem like its worth the price. I do think it is a huge rip off. For $30.00, I expect to talk unlimited , all month. Not just 5 hours. If you think 5 hours is worth the $30.00, then that's your life, but I wouldn't do it.

First of all 100 minutes is an hour and 40 minutes, second Consumer Cellular is a great company. You get great customer service and the people are really nice. My husband and I are with them and have been for several years.

Just got a rep point from this thread and was surprised it was still up and running! Been with them since posting this and we are still very happy! Prices have not gone up and I was able to add a web/text option to our current plan for only $5 per month. Its limited, but we don't use our phones to text too much so for us its still well worth it. No problems at all..

For $30.00 you can talk all month long, without limits, with some companies, like Cricket. But I guess it just depends on how fancy you want your phone to be.
Have a fried who had cericket and the service was terrible. Dropped calls ;unable to get out period on signal etc.I almost do as good with a tin can or borrowing someone else hpe as he did with mine at times.
