I just found YELP and it really helps me!! I love it. For those of you who don't know it's a webiste where you can find pretty much anything, shops, restaurants etc and leave your opinion on the place.. I have found it very useful mostly for going out on the town and new places to try...

Anyone yelp?

used to do it more often in the past, but so much anymore. there has been a lot of fraud on that site, a lot of bought reviews. I still check it out, but read reviews w/ a careful eye and no longer solely rely on the reviews on there. pity, b/c it started out as a great site, but now it's hard to tell which reviews are legit and which ones were paid for

I've used citysearch instead. Same system. But lots of people say they have fake reviews too.

Used to in the beginning, until I also realized many of the reviews were either the owners themselves or employees. Unfortunatley alot of people (at least in my city) started using it as more a vent forum, than a reviewers page. They would post pictures of employees or waiters that they did not like ect. High school behavior lol.
On the plus side, I had written a few reviews and was contacted by the establishments. I had gotten a buy one get one dinner, and once got a 3 ride pass for a go kart establishment

Unfortunately, these things do happen. Even here on city data, there's a thread about a dentist in Mexico. Man, all the inquiries seem fake. Some have just one post to their names, and you just know its either the competition, or the employees posting.

Yes, I do. I post a review here and there, but mainly read them from others.
