I'll cast another vote for In-N-Out Burger. The burgers are excellent, and so are their shakes. Their fries are a little different from most, and I like them, though I know some folks that don't. I particularly like their "secret" menu, with the animal style items on it. Animal style fries are my favorite. They melt cheese on the fries and top them with grilled onions and their special sauce... yummy!

My favorites:
McDonalds fries
Wendy's hamburgers
Church's for fried chicken
Panda Express orange chicken & beef/ brocolli
I don't think it lives up to the hype, but I did like the Chick Fil-A wafer fries

It's a tie between Sonic, Taco Bell, and Panda Express for me. I guess it depends on if I want American, Mexican, or Chinese that day.

--oh and Wendy's is good, but I HATE that you have to ask for 2 pieces of cheese on your dbl cheeseburger. grrr. and they usually dont put it on. grrr.

Burger King mainly because they took the lead as being the first major fast food chain to adopt several good practices including crate free pork, cage free eggs, healthier kids meals with organic applesauce, etc. Of course Subway is pretty darn good too.

Sonic! The best fast food out there. Lots of variety.

Whataburger, though, has the best fast food hamburgers IMHO. Double meat cheese Whataburger rules!

Oh as far as best quality and consistency for hamburgers, it goes to 5 guys. Burgers, hot dogs, fries and not much more. Potatoes for the fries are blanched and cut in the store and fried in peanut oil.

Can't beat Bronco's in Omaha. They are not a chain, so outside the two locations in Nebraska I don't think you'll find them.

Can't go there very often or you will have a heartattack, but the burger/fry flavors I have never seen replicated.
