Ok, anyone gotten a bargain lately?

The other day at Kohl's I bought the following for $300

7 pairs ladies pants, 4 jeans 3 slacks (gloria vanderbilt)
1 Ladies nightgown (chaps)
9 cotton undershirts/tank tops--ladies
6 mens short sleeve shirts-4 tshirts and 2 button down
1 mens speedo bathing suit
1 toddler girl shorts and 1 toddler girl shirt (carters)
14 pairs of kid boy shorts (kohl's brand)
3 pairs toddler girl shoes (munchkin by stride rite)

around $7 per item. And the pants were not even on clearance, really bringing up that average!

I was pretty happy with this purchase!

Anyone else gotten a great deal lately? What did you buy and where?

At 6'9", I have few options. I order jeans directly from Carhartt's.

But, I wear a lot of pocket t-shirts. They are good for regular wear and give me a place to carry my cell phone and pen. Since it's hard to find them in tall sizes, I have to buy a 4X (I'm a 2X size, but I have to get them big enough to hang over my shoulders so I don't look like a plumber), and buy them in a variety of colors.

For dress shirts, I usually have to order them, although JC Penney's will have 2X XT on occasion. But no one ever has tall sizes on sale.

For shoes, I go to a place like Shoe Carnival when I fly Outside to visit family, and I will buy every pair of out-of-style Asics or Reeboks they have in my size. For dress shoes, I will buy solid black athletic shoes, so they will look nice, yet still fit over my leg brace when I have to wear it.

For my child, I find wonderful bargains on ebay. But for myself, the clothes, at least the used ones, always tend to be dated and often go straight to Goodwill. I was recently wearing a summer dress that everyone thought was extremely nice and dressy. I had bought it for 90% off at the end of last summer at Kohl's for $4.

I am a Kohl's girl myself as well. I used to just shop at Macy's & Dillards but since a Kohls opened up near me I have not been back to Macys or Dillards since. Not only are the prices and sales incredible, I think the clothes themselves are better looking.

TJ Maxx! I love the one by me because it always has tons of designer brands. The other day I got 2 dresses and 2 sweaters for what the original price tag was on one dress!

I don't have a ton of clothes, but I do like decent quality that won't fall apart. I shop at Talbots and often get items on sale.

I've found some really great items and buys at Ross and Marshall's--but you have to have time to really search the racks.
I do most of my shopping at Ann Taylor Loft or Ann Taylor--they are the only stores in my area that carry size 0-2 regularly! We have a Macy's, but size 6 is about the smallest they have in our town!

Saks off 5th. I wait for their 25% off coupons that come pretty much every 3 months and stock up.

I agree Ross, Marshalls, and T.J. Maxx are the best! I do love Kohls also. If I can find a good sale or have coupons I will splerge at Macy's.
