then don't shop there.....now, how difficult was that? Many like Wal-Mart, many don't. There is more than one store in town, so just shop where you want.

The nearest WalMart for me is 25 miles away. Used to be a once a month trip to stock up on the variety and low prices I can't find in my home town. Not so anymore. The variety is gone, replaced with Great Value brand which I find inferior, and the prices have increased to where WalMart isn't the great value it used to be. More and more of WalMart products are 'products of China'....I'd rather buy 'Made in the U.S.A.'
Walmart does sell items 'Made in the U.S.A.', but you have to read the labels. Those always go into my shopping cart first and then if I have no choice, it's the best of what's available.

Yep, I do read those labels. More and more of them say "Product of China".
You do have a choice....buy it or leave it on the shelf.

I admit I've put things back on the shelf if I didn't like the ingredients or felt I could do better elsewhere. I then go elsewhere and usually end up regretting that I didn't buy it at Walmart when I was there!

For those who have a Publix grocery store near them, I have found their store brand grocery items (canned veggies, cereals, spaghetti, lunch meats, etc) are very good quality - much better than Wal-Marts GV brand items and still cheaper than commercial brands.
Publix' store brand name items aren't that pricey. IMHO anyway..
Does Publix have 20oz Rasin Bran for $1.65 ?
