Some Canyon River Blues cargo pants.

Two pairs for $5 each. That was over 5 years ago. $1 a year for pants is pretty damn good

Apple wedger. Now we snack on apples instead of chips or sweets.

Every piece of secondhand furniture I've purchased that is constructed from solid wood. They don't make furniture out of solid wood anymore.

I would have to say my XM radio. I have used it almost every single day for 6 or 7 years and it has not failed to be entertaining. The first one I had did break after a couple years but things happen. The second one I got has worked like a champ.

My Shop-Vac Wet/Dry vacuum. I bought it for $20.00 18 years ago and it has saved me major money.

Please don't laugh but it's our Toyota Highlander. We bought it back in 2001 and love the vehicle. My wife and I have never had a problem with it, and it gets good gas mileage. The ride is very relaxing and there's plenty of room inside for everything we need to take with us.

The older models of Toyotas are not having issues or troubles like the newer ones, but I don't know what model years they started with problems. However I'm keeping this SUV for a while longer and enjoying it.

Wedding set - have had it for 8 years and it still makes me smile whenever I look at it - and I love how it refracts sunlight at random times catching my attention. Also - it hasn't depreciated one cent.

Pessoa saddle - I have had it for about 15, 16 years now and it is STILL perfect!

OxyClean Stain Stick - saved me countless dollars in what would have been otherwise ruined clothing.

A Wagner Power Roller. We bought one back in the 80's and I don't know how many times we've painted and repainted several houses with it. When we finally lost a small piece from it, we decided to buy another one because now it sucked the paint right out of the can. We've done quite a bit of painting with that one too.
My other best thing is my iPod nano, although i didn't buy it, it was a gift from my husband. I've dropped it a couple of times, once it landed in a puddle when it fell out of my purse. It still works great. i wish it held more songs though, I've collected over 1500 and they won't all fit.

They're certainly not my favorite purchase, but I still like my Farberware pots and pans I bought in 1973. Still have all of them and they're in fantastic shape.
