Default Why in Shreveport

Why do the restaurants in Shreveport rollup around 10 Pm on weekends. Mansfield Rd and Bert Kouns area. Why are there so many empty lots in Shreveport, it is starting to look like Detriot. the saving point is the food is excellent

Are you referring to all restaurants or just in SW Sport-specifically Mansfield/BK area? SW Sport has been changing for several years now although not to the extent some believe. Without the 7500+ workers at the telephone plant, a shuttered Mall and other businesses closing and relocating east, the businesses aren't flush with customers as they once were. The allowing of entire sections of town to go to rot is symtomatic of something once termed as "Shreveportitis". In other words, people in this city really don't seem to give a **** as to what happens to the city as a whole or a section of it. It's always been that way. I think it's a real shame, but there is not much anyone can do; however, plenty everyone can do.

Wow, I know of a lot of restaurants that close at midnight or later on weekends. 10 PM is early! I bet those servers who work there aren't happy about that.
