Default Shreveport

I will be traveling in the Shereveport area later in month, am looking for restaurant, hotel , state park recommends from anyone familiar with region. I have been all over south except northern Louisiana and Missisippi, so am interested in seeing area.

State Parks? I can't help you there. Hopefully someone else can. I'm not much of a nature person, I'm a city boy.

Do you gamble? If so, stay at one of the casino hotels so that you'll be in the downtown area. Visit the Louisiana Boardwalk which is right in the middle of the casino district.

Restaurants ... depends on your budget. What kind of dining are you looking for? Fine dining? Cultural? Local dives? I'll gladly help you on that if I know what kind of restaurant(s) you might be interested in.

SBC, how about Lake Bistenau state park, its in your neck of the woods.

I don't know anything about it. I live in Haughton but I couldn't even tell a person how to get to Bistineau. I don't stray too far off the freeways around here.
