If I visit Sioux Falls, where is the best local place to get a pizza from? I don't want a national chain. A local chain is fine but nothing national that I could get anywhere.

SF is not exactly Pizzatopia. The best homemade pizza in the area was a pretty good secret. To me it was The Lion's Den Bar in Garretson. Unfortunately, it closed this past year.
I don't even know of a place that I can recommend that isn't a chain or makes them from scratch where they stand out.
Not sure where you're visiting from, but the Pizza Ranch is a pretty good place. It's a small midwest chain, headquartered in Orange City, IA. You'll find them in cities like Sioux Falls and lots of them in small towns. They have a pretty good all-you-can-eat buffet or you can order off a menu. Depending on where you're coming from, Pizza Ranch might not be new to you.

Their pizza is pretty good, but far from fabulous. The chicken in their buffet is really good though.
Overall, you'll never be disappointed at a Pizza Ranch.
