There are quite a few call centers. Many are credit-card related. The big ones are Citibank, First Premier Bankcard, and Wells Fargo. Total Card, First Financial, and Capital Card Services are other call centers.

There are some call centers that are non-credit card related and include Knology (cable/internet/phone provider in the region), Midcontinent Communications (cable/internet/phone provider in the Upper Midwest), Qwest (phone/cable/internet provider-was one of the baby Bells when Bell was broken up (and was USWest in the 1980s and 1990s). Tel-Drug is another that comes to my mind.

There might be a few others I have not mentioned, but there are plenty of call center jobs in Sioux Falls and you should not have a problem finding one. There are oppotunities for advancement, especially in places such as Wells Fargo, First Premier, and City Bank. The unemployment is around 3%, which is actually very good when compared to other parts of the nation.
