You can... because England wouldn't have left the spaces that led to the 3rd and 4th goals had they been tied. And Mexico was playing a pretty decent match before that goal came.

The technology to do the right thing is available, it isn't ridiculously expensive (heck they can't even sell advertisement... "we'll have a SONY ref. decision Challenge!!"). Blatter is an idiot.

If somebody told you A YEAR ago, . . . that mighty France and Italy would be eliminated in the first round, (and that the US would get past the first round), and that BRAZIL would be knocked out in round 2, . . .would you have believed it ?
This is the most exciting World Cup yet, . . . full of surprises.
It is anybody's game now.

that's not true,this world cup was nothing special,the groupe stage was awfull,what save it was the 4 finals,second finals and final

From the 3rd game on in each group the World Cup picked up alot, so IMHO apart from the horns it was a great world cup. World Cups generally start off slow though.

yes,i totally agree with you,maybe it's because in groupe stages they play by points and in the eighths they play to win,only one game(just like champions league),like the commentators said here,the quaters,half finals and final save the world cup
