iPhone has a free Vuvuzela app now. I can now annoy the crap out of everyone at a moments notice.

I can't believe people say they "refuse to watch" because of the horns. Fer chrissake, turn the volume off and stop being so overdramatic. It's not like you'll die without the commentary anyway.

Im glad there are others who AGREE with me. And to those who dont, lets see you parade around with a vuvuzela...violence will ensue (not a threat). Just saying, there are those Americans amongst us who dont take too kindly to "traditional african instrumentation and song" used at a game, ie vuvuzela.

And no, Im not going to mute my tv. Id rather just NOT even watch the world cup, just like 99% of other Americans. This is just one reason for us to not give a crap about it/be turned off by it. And giving the World Cup to south africa to begin with LOL...yea...thats funny...that country is well..ill save my words as they are not very nice but lets just say its about as good as an idea as opening a disneyland in somalia. please go.

14.5 million Americans watched the USA-England match.

Out to lunch. These horns were widely used (not very popular for those that were sitting in front of one) at the Met Center in Bloomington for North Star games back in the 70's and 80's. Trying to paint this as some African cultural insult shows where your head is really at.

I've heard air horns in a lot of other places too. Including the World Cup matches in LA.
