New soccer fan here, watched 2006 world cup and have been following this years events as well, go usa. I don't know the rules really but I'm starting to learn them as I watch more games, watched the entire usa vs england and also mexico vs south africa and was entertained.

My questions : Why did only SA and Europe get good at soccer, especially south america? Also which side is better Europe with Germany 3 world cups, Italy (4), England (1) France (1) and other good teams, dutch, spain, portugal, or South America with Brazil (5) Argentina (2), Paraguay, Uruaguay, ect ect.

I'll go with the South American side. They have the only teams that have won outside of their own continent: Brazil in Europe ('58), N. America ('70, '94) and Asia ('02), and Argentina in N. America ('86). On the European side, not a single one. I don't expect any European team to break that 'tradition' in South Africa.
