Well Portugal pretty much just destroyed NK. LOL So much for that. Anyway, that's my other favorite team, so I'm still happy.

Holy cow. That was one crazy lopsided game. I actually almost felt bad for the North Koreans. I hope they don't get beaten or put in jail for having a -8 goal differential so far.

Personally, I don't understand why a few of the players on the NK team didn't take the opportunity and defect during the WC.

The Cuban soccer team has a few defectors almost every time they play in the USA. NK players need to take some lessons from the Cubans.

They are a propaganda tool for a regime that, political feelings aside, has killed million(s) of it's own civilians in recent years. Ironically, many of them are now likely no longer in a privaledged position with things like food to eat and are probably toiling in labor camps or being tortured.

The NK's are much harder core than the Cubans. You defect and your entire family is toast. Also, there is extensive brainwashing in the country.

NK is most comparable to the Khmer Rouge or China during Mao's cultural revolution where you could be shot or tortured for just wearing glasses.
