The U.S. got screwed up the vuvuzela.

The main point is, an unnecessary call was made and never explained. The US is not upset that they didn't receive a PK or any other help from the ref. They SCORED, earned the goal, and it was taken away, which means not only was Slovenia's bear-hugging ok, it was the US who created the need for a whistle, supposedly....supposedly something worthy of taking a score off the board! It takes alot of soccerballs to remove points from the scoreboard in any sport, much less a call that was never defined.

Who can anyone defend that? We're arguing about Slovenia's bear-hugging like we wanted a call. The focus should be, what did the US do wrong?!?!?!? That garbage referee owes the captain an explanation when he asks. Landon Donovan after the game still said he did not know. That's ridiculous.

I'm beginning to understand why there are so many riots and soccer-related deaths in countries other than the US. This is a frustrating, arbitrarily-judged sport -- not least because it restricts the use of humanity's key limbs -- the hands and arms. How idiotic.

Add the spectacle of silly little men in tight shorts displaying colored cards to grown men, and the operatic facial contortions which accompany false injuries, and you have an effective recipe for what can only be described as athletic absurdity.

The "beautiful game"? To drama majors, perhaps -- and morons blowing plastic horns...

I understand where you are coming from. So, here is my advice:

1. Avoid watching soccer
2. Avoid posting on soccer related forums.

On the contrary, it appears you do not understand the sport at all.

Why do people get angry about not using arms? Is that really so offensive? Try developing a new skill, you lazy f**ks.

At first from reading the title I thought this was going to be another teabagging thread, which should belong in the political forum. My bad, carry on.
