The only thing wrong with the Dallas name is that they are using FC instead of SC. I'm not a fan of the Real Salt Lake name. I wasnt a fan of the name change that occurred with my team but said I would change if they made good on their promises to create a true Sporting organization and they have done just that by having over 70 organizations under the Sporting umbrella including our local semi-pro Rugby and Aussie football teams.

Real is more a Spanish thing. I agree with you that Real Salt Lake sounds just stupid and laughable. What about stuff like FC, United, Wanderers and SC.

I think only because it's D.C., the Nation's Capital, I think they can get away with it.

I told you, 'FC' is fine, and "Wanderers" is just another nickname, like Tigers, or Bears, or Cowboys. Doesn't matter.

Wanderers doesn't have to be a nickname. It can be part of your clubs name.
