True. It's not top five for American sports. However, it does get a fair amount of media attention and has some fanbase.

You do realize that ESPN has payed millions for the rights to broadcast MLS, UEFA, EPL, La Liga, USSF, FIFA, and other soccer events?

On top of that, they are working on creating a soccer specific ESPN channel.

yeah, they hate soccer over there at ESPN.
