I think Germany will win and go on to win the world cup.

Woops, didn't realise the game had finished and that Spain had won. Now I do. Thank goodness Germany have gone!

I don't like Germany.

I'm really disappointed, Germany should have gone to the final. But today they seemed more stressed, that's weird, it's not like them...
Anyway, I'm really sad.

This was nothing more than a repeat of the 2008 UEFA Cup! The Spaniards (AKA "Los Chiquitos,i.e., the short ones)" ran circles around the German "precision" machine.

Absent of Ballack, the German giants appeared lethargic before "Los Chiquitos."

I will add that Spain failed to capitalize on several opportunities to score more goals. This should have been a relatively easy 3-0 win for Spain had it not been for their lack of precision striking and the selfish ambitions of Pedro. Shame on him!

Viva España!

It was the same Germany... only difference is that they had not played vs Spain.

La Roja was amazing. Total control of the ball. Alonso and Ramos perfect when recovering the ball, Iniesta and Xavi moved it around fast and precisely, Pedro was daring and caused stress all the time (although he should have passed the ball to Torres in that play near the end), Villa's presence was felt.

And then Puyol, the captain, captain at Barcelona, one of the oldest folks in the team. He was heroic with that goal.

Spain is the clear favorite for the final in my book, but it's soccer, so you never know. Let's wait to hear from the Octopus.

Congrads to Spain, they deserved the win. But they are tedious to watch, closer to Greece or Switzerland then Brazil or Germany in style.

I don't think so at all. Then again you're the person who said Schweinsteiger is a better player than Messi.

Brazil and Germany are nothing alike. Spain seems to play much like a South American team - Brazil, Argentina, etc - in that they rely on ball handling/accurate short passes to breakdown defenses with a mixture of patience, rather than aggressive play from big players or just speed on long counter attacks. I don't think Greece and Switzerland are even relevant here.

Spain was very easy on the eyes yesterday. Beautiful passing, creativity, one touches, and solid defense. Again, Germany was a very good team, and Spain made them look helpless.
