I am very pleased to see 2 countries that have never won before in the final. I love it.
I wonder, . . .
who did Paul the German Octopus pick to win.
Hasnt he been 100% accurate so far?

My bracket has been perfect except for picking the US to make the semis. I have Spain beating Holland 2-1.

Hope you've cashed in on that.

Spain, #2 in the world, is one of the two favorites and Holland beat the other in Brazil (#1). It seems fitting these two have emerged. Hopefully, we're in for a classic.

Hopefully cuz Spain v Germany was no classic. Netherlands v Brazil was... Spain takes the joy (and the ball) away from all opponents, so it's hard to picture them playing in a "fun" game.

I'll win $90 if I take it. I win as long as I dont get both the final and 3rd place game wrong. I doubt both Spain and Germany lose so I should take it.

Yes but he only predicts German matches.

Rumor has it German fans feel betrayed and are calling for his head on a silver platter.

I so suck at predictions, so I won't try to make one. However, my heart is with "Los Chiquitos" from Spain. I pray they will take the trophy for their first time ever.

OLE-OLE-OLE!!!

The Netherlands have one player that is half Spanish and Half Dutch: Rafael Van Deer Vart.

His mother is Spanish and his father is Dutch. What are the odds that a football player with dual nationality had the chance to play for any of the two teams of a world cup final.
