No, they arent planning on growing the league past 20 or 24 teams for now. Garber has already said as much.

As soon as the Cosmos starting playing in like 2013 or 2014, I imagine we will see several years without expansion before the final 4 teams are added.

the cosmos will be in NY???
why doesn't teams play against all each other,i personally don't understang the thing east/west conference,specially when canadians teams are in this,if a team from puerto rico enters,where will they go?est or west?

Yes, the Cosmos will be in NY.

All the teams do play against each other. As of right now, all teams play each other 2x.

The league is likely going to realign next season.

How does east-west not make sense when you have Canadian teams??? The NHL, NBA, and MLB have team(s) from both countries and are able to group teams based on geographical location as well.

The family that bought the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit have announced plans on removing the dome and converting the building to a 30K seat MLS stadium for a potential expansion team.
