Good move by UEFA. After the World Cup, very few want to hear those darned things....most people have had more than enough of South Africa's "culture"..

UEFA is a classy organization. FIFA is not.

Good decision. Vuvuzelas are the worst thing ever!

That so ****ing noisy toys made me became anger at the world cup matches.

Nothing better as listening some chants, and shouts from the people. My brother was in the opening game s.a. vs mx and he told me that the noise that vuvuzelas make is untolerable.

I know we were told that Fifa didnt ban the Vuvuzelas during the world cup because they were a part of South Africas folklore and tradition.

That being said, the telecasts were hard to enjoy with the never ending blasts of noise----it was indeed extremely annoying and disruptive. The worldwide tv networks who paid hundreds of millions of dollars in tv rights for the world cup had to very angry with fifa.

Noise, chanting, singing, and whistling have long been an international way of life for international football. Vuvuzelas and other ear splitting instruments of distraction are not an acceptable method of expression.

South Africa did put on a good show----but my guess is unless they tell fifa that future world cups will not include vuvuzelas, another world cup for South Africa will be lightyears away.

I hope the empty seats would be a better reason to not have a WC there for lightyears!

Thank God. I am okay with them at this past World Cup because of the cultural impact they have in South Africa - but they better never infiltrate European or North American soccer.
