I don't agree. Brasil hosted in 1950, which shouldn't (and didn't) exclude them from hosting 64 years later. I wouldn't mind if England got another (if they wanted it), since they hosted 50 years ago.

I am more on the side of FIFA should give the tournament to countries that can handle it instead of who has the biggest bribes for them. It doesnt matter if they hosted it 12 years beforehand just give it to a country that can handle it.

Quatar is an obvious joke to give it to. Russia was 50/50 but they cant even setup for a Winter Olympics that is low key compared to the WC so I can imagine what that will be like.

Hosting in new countries will help develop stadiums and facilities there. This is how to promote and increase exposure to countries that are not good in football.

I understand the reasons and agree to a point. That it why S Africa and Qatar won bids...but the Qatar decision was really quite dumb for too many reasons (105F average temps in June, treatment of workers, lack of stadiums, etc). Australia could work, Turkey, Canada, a number of Asian countries, etc, but they seem to be stretching it a bit.

Give Qatar other tourneys, like they have held.

Quatar intends to take down / move the stadiums so there is there absolutely no reason to hold the WC there. Its not going to do anything for the sport in that nation. It is PURELY there for bribes.

One of the only good things about the 2022 WC being held in Qatar is going to be the close proximity the cities will be. It won't require a lot of travel for fans to go from city to city to see their country.

I still think they should have awarded 2022 to Australia.

I've worked in Qatar, I've known it reach 53c there. Walking around in 120 degrees plus is no easy task believe me. Look what happened in the Australian open Tennis and the temperature was only in the low 40s.
