It's an American football stadium built so that soccer can be played in it. As someone who had a team that played in an American football stadium for 13 years, I can tell you that it is not good for soccer.

The site lines are different. Soccer specific stadiums are made for soccer and will give you a better view for the sport. A stadium made for football is just different.

the KC stadium and the NY stadium are the next generation of soccer specific stadiums. Houston is following suite with their new stadium as well. Those three are going to be the class of the league.

What have I said that was classless.

If I think Toyota Park is a ****hole, then I've got another thing coming? What does that even mean? Have you seen our stadium? It is far superior than anything that has been built in the US for soccer except for maybe RBA.

You're really throwing jabs because we had to play at a temporary venue? We didnt have anywhere else to play while our stadium was built. I am more than happy to play in a minor league baseball park if it means getting to play at LIVESTRONG for the next few decades.

State-of-the-art:

****hole:
Youre a "Sporting" KC homer who is comparing a brand new stadium to older venues. Brilliant. I dont care that Livestrong is "state of the art", its still plays host to a 3rd rate team in a 3rd rate city.

Its a shame the biggest team in the country that hasn't won the MLS in 10 years couldn't beat the newcomers this weekend You remind me of Newcastle Utd fans. You boast of all this great stadium and players, yet have not won MLS since 2000.

Meanwhile Folan the guy who probably wouldnt cut it scored today.1st goal was fantastic too IMHO. Come on the Rapids!!!!!

Seriously? That's all you have? TP is only 5 years old. That 3rd rate team has beaten your team twice in Championship games.

lol

Brag about winning as many individual games as you want. Heck, the loser Miami Dolphins can lay claim to being the only team to defeat the Bears in the 1985 Super Bowl run, but...
