Season predictions for the upcoming MLS season.

My predictions:

NY to win the Eastern conference

RSL or LA to win the Western conference

LA or NY to win the MLS cup

RSL to win the Rocky Mountain Cup

Vancouver Whitecaps to be the surprise team

How do you think teams will do after their transactions, have they done well etc...

I think Rapids will retain MLS Cup. I think they have a good squad that will build on last years success. Think (hope) we are seeing the end of Beckham too, hes going to need support from his teammates more this season.

Colorado have bought in Nyassi who i think is good but i can't see them winning anything this year despite having a good team with Wynne and Casey.

Beckham is good on the ball but he really is getting past it and LA have now got Angel. They could do really well this year.

I dont think Angel is much to write home about either tbh. Colorado can take the MLS success of last year into this season with them too. You dont need to be the best during the group stages (which they were not last season for sure too) you just need to know how to put in a performance in the knockout stages and Colorado certainly proved they can do that!

LondonUSA, as you seem to have a keen interest in MLS, may I suggest you take a look at Major League Soccer UK? It is a blog by a Brit all about watching MLS from the British perspective. You might get a kick out of it.

I'm not sure if there is anywhere in the uk that shows games live.
I just go on the MLS website and watch the highlights. They're very good highlights to be honest.

Watched the sounders v galaxy yesterday. Cracking goal by Juninho to win it. Looked like a good attendance and atmosphere too so well done to the sounders fans
