It was prawn sandwiches! However I do believe he did say in the same interview that he thought United had the best away following of any team. Plus, that was probably said over 10 years ago.

I think this could blend very well with the terraces post, you get more of an atmosphere with the terraces, going all seating has seriously changed the way the game is watched as fan at the game.

Thats the thing mate, all seater stadiums and ticket prices hitting the roof and still going. The working class are becoming priced out of going to the football and its all family friendly atmosphere. No standing just sit there and clap occasionaly and god forbid if you start chanting or singing! You must be a hoolie!

Im all for the stading sections, i think it would bring back a bit of the atmosphere we've lost

i am all for family friendly stadiums but there should be at least one stand where there can be standing and a dare i say, a wee bit of an intimidating atmosphere, where they are loud and proud singing, jumping and chanting, it's what a lot of britain is losing, the great atmosphere, without a doubt at old trafford, the emirates and stamford bridge, i mean these are big teams, old trafford has a capacity of over 76,000 and sometimes you can hear a pin drop, something needs to be done, because stadium atmosphere has been a part of football for ever and it seems to be disappearing for a lot of grounds

Yeah i agree. Even if it is just 5000 or so it would bring back the atmosphere.

Now if you stand up persistently you can actually be removed from the ground!

I sure am glad Colorado Rapids allows standing up and designates areas where these types of fans can go instead of fighting it and throwing people out for it. When I go with my boys I like to sit in the family orientated areas but when I go with the lads I like to stand and shout like the good ol days
