I wonder, how do they play soccer in Russia in winter? I think they play anyways under freezing weather and snow, don't they?

Russia have a winter break. Not sure of the exact date that they stop playing though.

The other season Barca were playing Rubin Kazan in the Champions League in November and it was something like -15C and with snow.

Yeh they can play it here in the US, I think the point Robb was making that nobody will show up.
Which I think he is right. But maybe delaying games for one day (either side of international match day) is not going to add alot of time to the schedule.

Yeah, they can play. That isnt the issue. Getting paying customers to come out is the issue.
