Another one I am excited abour is the Ayrshire derby between Ayr and Kilmarnock probably the 4th biggest derby in Scotland afer the Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee derbies, they are playing at 50,000 seater Hampden park in the league cup semi final in a few weeks and I think this will show the world how fierce this rivalry is, they don't play each other often so I am looking forward to it!

The Ayrshire derby was won by Kilmarnock 1-0, that is a fierce derby! Not as many fans as the old firm but the same amount of hatred!

Celtic don't need any rivals when their own fans do this to each other.

International football

Egypt v Algeria, Brazil v Argentina, England v Argentina, Germany v Holland, Turkey v Greece, El Salvador v Honduras and I think England v Scotland deserves a mention since it's the oldest rivalry in the world and that's the one I like personally lol

First time I have ever been on here. The biggest football rivalry in world football is Liverpool-Man Utd. There is no doubt about it. We hate each other with a passion and we cant stand each other. The rivalry has just gotten a lot worse after the whole Luis Suarez v Patrice Evra thing. We hate Mancs and they hate us. Its great.

You seriously think Liverpool v Man United is bigger that Celtic v Rangers, Barcelona v Real Madrid, Al Ahly v Zamalek, Red Star Belgrade v Partizan Belgrade, West Ham United v Millwall, Galatasaray v Fenerbahce, Boca Juniors v River Plate or Hajduk Split v Dynamo Zagreb is that what you are saying? People die because of some of these games for gods sake Liverpool v Man United is nowhere near as big a rivalry than the ones I have stated. It isn't even the bitterest rivalry in England West Ham v Millwall is.

It is the biggest rivalry in world football. The difference between them and the rest of them is that their fans are not as stupid as others and dont go around killing each other. Celtic v Rangers fans dont kill each other neither does Millwall or West Ham. Its just in countries where the crime rate is high like Argentina and places like that. If Liverpool and Man Utd were in Argentina or somewhere like that then there would be people getting killed at those games.
